Abandon light painting and forget 3D because ’3D was so yesterday.’ says Florian Mueller. Being inspired by Stephanie Jung’s work of European cities, Mueller welcomes the latest contender to experimental photographic techniques: ‘multi-vision’; the new series of multi-exposed photographies.
Centring around Manhattan for the first photos within the series, the already congested yet somewhat fascinating landscape of skyscrapers sees even more chaos, turning unbroken structures into towering piles that continuously integrate into one another. ‘Hectic and calming at the same time. A kind of contemplating wimmelbild,’ says Mueller of his work.
